Work Flow Development and Automation of key processes around an ERP for a
major multinational brewery:
VSM has developed an entire Work Flow engine and used it to automate the key
processes needed by the breweries. The company has used the processes to
streamline operations across multiple breweries spread out across the country.
The workflow engine interfaces with the currently existing legacy ERP system
called SYSPRO, to provide enhanced services.
It handles a large number of processes and provides substantial time and cost
savings for company.

WorkFlow
Manager controls the creation and the
processing of forms that need to flow
through the system.

Hierarchy
of the users and user groups are defined
here. Specific to each form, admin will be
able to map the hierarchy and define the
workflow rules for each form.
Admin
will be able to set the mode of flow i.e.
whether the form should return back to the
initiator after each level of approval, so
that he/she can forward it again OR the form
flows from one approving authority to the
next with an intimation coming back to the
initiator once the flow is complete.

Interface controller ensures that the data in
the .ERP system 'SYSPRO' and the data maintained
by .the Workflow engine remain in sync.

The WorkFlow
forms are of various categories such as
Finance Related (Capex, Budgets etc),
Inventory related (Pool equipment etc) or
Operations related (New vendor registration
etc). All of them allow for a complex
authorization phase like in the screen shot
shown below: |
